She provided the ‘fire in the head’ of poetic inspiration.
A very complex figure, Brigit is a solar deity and triskell is one of her symbols. In celtic mythology she is the daughter of the Dagda and one of the Tuatha Dé Danann.
She is depicted while tracing a triskel on a parchment scroll.
